This is Jon Jimmerson playing a little bit of Charlie Brown with a kyser 1/2 cut capo. He is an acoustic player among many things. Jon has been an acoustic player for over 20 years and can play a variety of styles and genres. Several influences of Jon's- Tommy Emmanuel, Glen Campbell, James Taylor, John Butler Trio, and many more. Several acoustics that Jon records with are as follows- Martin D35 and Gibson J45. Among acoustic guitars he also plays mandolin, banjo, and dobro. The dobro and mandolin are used often to compliment his acoustic guitar parts wether or not producers want to keep them in the mix. Jon can also act as a utility player jumping between all of these instruments when needed on the road.
