Here is the lap steel part (for the most part) for the song Rising Sun by All Sons and Daughters. This is a Magnatone lap steel in open E played through a Swart AST Pro and boss reverb RV5. The amp is being pushed a little to break up. This is for those wanting to play some worship with a lap steel. There is some additional improve in this recording but most of the parts are about the same.

I am a lap steel guitarist who plays country, blues, rock, pop, CCM (Contemporary Christian Music), and many more genres. I have always been a fan of All Sons and Daughters therefore, made a recording/ tutorial on this song called Rising Sun. I'm not sure what tuning the original player was using but this is in open E.
