JJ is primary known for Pedal Steel, Dobro and Guitar Playing. JJ is currently playing utility (pedal steel and guitar) for Larry Fleet. In addition to being on the road with Larry Fleet, Jon has shared the stage with many artists such as Marti Frederiksen, Neon Union, Jimmie Allen, Carrie Underwood, etc.
Jon plays all different types of guitar styles and can play any genre. He is well versed in slide guitar as well.

Jon has been playing pedal steel for over 10 years. He has two pedal steels- a Derby D10 Double neck and an MSA Classic. He is inspired by all things pedal steel- Paul Franklin, Robert Randolph, Tommy White, Russ Pahl, etc.

Jon is well versed in bluegrass, country, blues, etc. and can incorporate any of these instruments into those genres for recording or touring.
